Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai said I will send Afghan troops to Pakistan but one thing is very important in between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Pakistan is among nuclear power states and Afghanistan even can not make a glass pot. This is the big power difference between these two countries that’s why Pakistan should conquer Afghanistan and teach a lessor to afghan puppet President. I think this is the bad idea of Karzai. A Taliban spokesman warned that the Afghan army would be defeated by thousands of armed tribesmen and speaking on the grounds of his fortified presidential palace Karzai told a news conference that Afghanistan has the right to self defense and because militants cross over from Pakistan to come and kill Afghan and kill coalition troops it exactly gives us the right to do the same and then Karzai warned Pakistan based Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud that Afghan forces would target him on his home . Mehsud has been accused in last year’s assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Baitullah Mehsud should know that we will go after him now and hit him in his house Karzai said and the other fellow Taliban leader Mullah Omar should know the same Karzai continued. This is a 2 way road in this case and Afghans are good at the 2 way road journey we will complete the journey and we will get them and we will defeat them. We will avenge all that they have done to Afghanistan for the past so many years. In Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said his country is a sovereign state that wants good relations with its neighbors But he said the Afghan Pakistan border is too long to prevent people from crossing even if Pakistan puts its entire army along the border. Neither do we interfere in anyone else’s matters nor will we allow anyone to interfere in our territorial limits and our affairs Gilani told The Associated Press. We want a stable Afghanistan. It is in our interest How can we go to destabilize our brotherly country? Such kind of statements will not be taken well by the people of both countries.
The Afghan president should know, how Pakistan helped Afghanistan in the previous 3 decades. They were homeless and Pakistan provided them shelter and food. The afghanistan was invaded by Russia and it was only Pakistan who helped them to be freed from Russia. Hamid Karzai should be ashamed of his statement. He should bear in his mind, Pakistan is capable of conquering Afghanistan in 15 minutes. He should avoid such statements.

President Pervez Musharraf and some of his bitter political opponents shared the table at a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday for formation commanders and services chiefs at the lawns of the PM House. Senior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Federal Education Minister Ahsan Iqbal, both of whom are outspoken critics of the president, sat facing him all the way. Mr Iqbal even had his wife on the same table as spouses of the guests had also been invited to the dinner. Sources told Dawn that another critic of President Musharraf, PML-N’s Khawaja Mohammad Asif, attended the dinner, but did not share the table with him. Others present on the main table with the president and the prime minister included Chief of the Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Gen Tariq Majeed, navy chief Afzal Tahir, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Information Minister Sherry Rehman and Privatisation Minister Naveed Qamar. This was the first time since the cabinet’s oath-taking, on March 31, that a number of PML-N ministers came face to face with the president. During the oath-taking, PML-N members had worn black arm bands and even boycotted the tea party thrown by President Musharraf. But this time, as the dinner was hosted by the prime minister, the PML-N ministers had no choice but to sit with the head of state. The sources said that most of the ministers and guests left the Prime Minister House soon after the dinner and did not attend the musical evening. Speaking on the occasion, the premier called for “a new and balanced relationship between the civil and military institutions of the state. Mr Gilani said the nation had welcomed the recent remarks by the army chief and his call regarding strict adherence to the oath to safeguard the Constitution. Mr Gilani appreciated the COAS’s decision to recall military personnel serving against positions meant for civilians.Mr Gilani said the ultimate objective of the 1973 Constitution was to serve the nation. “The ultimate need of time is a coordinated and well thought-out joint action plan. Such a plan has not been so strong in the past. We cannot afford to waste time to argue about reasons for colossal mistakes of the past because not much is left with us,” he said. He felicitated all those stakeholders who contributed to the democratic transition, especially the armed forces for their judicious and prudent approach to the unfolding political realities. Unlike other armies of the world, Pakistan Army carries a unique and delicate responsibility. It has to defend the ideological boundaries along with the geographical boundaries of this country,” he added. Mr Gilani said for most of the people in the present government, for him in particular, the transition to democracy was an arduous path. “A journey painted with sweat and blood; with toils and labours; and with pain and anguish.

Pakistan crushed Bangladesh by 152 runs in a shortened one-day cricket international twice disrupted by power outages on Tuesday. Mohammad Yousuf posted an unbeaten 108 off 103 balls for his 15th ODI century in Pakistan’s total of 322 for five off its 50 overs. Bangladesh - in pursuit of a revised target of 282 in 39 overs - was shot out for 129 in 29.5. Play was twice suspended due to power breakdowns at Gaddafi Stadium that kept players off the field for 48 minutes. Before the light towers went off, left-arm paceman Sohail Tanvir (3-29) rattled Bangladesh’s top order when he clean bowled Tamim Iqbal (5) and then had Shahariar Nafees (24) and Aftab Ahmed (14) caught behind. After the play resumed, paceman Rao Iftikhar (2-16) got rid off captain Mohammad Ashraful (9) and Sakib Al Hasan off successive deliveries. Legspinner Shahid Afridi chipped in with three late wickets for 41, including No. 10 batsman Mashrafe Mortaza, who topscored with 25. Earlier, Yousuf hit 10 fours in his flawless century and featured in a record partnership with captain Shoaib Malik, who scored a better than run-a-ball 85. They shared 145 runs for the fourth wicket, surpassing the 112 for the fourth against Bangladesh by former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq and Younis Khan in 2003. Hard-hitting batsmen Misbah-ul-Haq (38 off 27 balls) and Afridi (27 not out) also contributed late in the innings as Pakistan made 102 runs in the last 10 overs. Malik won the toss and elected to bat first and Bangladesh new-ball bowlers Farhad Reza (2-41) and Mortaza (2-52) struck early. Wicketkeeper Dhiman Ghosh, who dropped a regulation catch from Salman Butt in Mortaza’s second over, made amends when he held onto four catches. Medium fast Reza bowled an unchanged spell of 10 overs and was duly rewarded with the wickets of openers Butt (33) and Nasir Jamshed (20) while Younis Khan chased a wide delivery from Mortaza and got a faint edge to Ghosh. Mortaza achieved a landmark when he became only the second Bangladesh bowler after left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafique to complete 100 wickets in ODIs when he had Misbah caught behind in his return spell.
Bangladesh lost its way after restricting Pakistan to 70-3 in the 18th over. Yousuf and Malik accelerated the runscoring against part-time bowlers. Spinner Mahmudullah Riad conceded 59 off five overs while Ashraful was hammered for 26 off two. Malik completed his half century off 45 balls but holed out at long off from the bowling of spinner Shakib Al Hasan in an attempt to hit a six. Yousuf completed his century when he flicked left-arm spinner Abdur Razzaq and ran a single in the 48th over.
The second game of the five-match series will be at Faisalabad on Friday.

Nawaz Shareef the ex prime minister of Pakistan came back and won the hearts of the peoples of Pakistan as indicated in the recent results of pakistan election. Nawaz Shareef is leading Pakistan Muslim League N. The peoples of Pakistan rejected the PML Q strongly. This is a very good move in the country. The results of the polling shows the fair and transparent process of election.
Before election especially in Punjab province of Pakistan, it was considered Pakistan peoples party and Pakistan muslim league Q will have a tough match but the result shows veteran Nawaz Shareef party PML N reels the Gujrat shareef ( Shujaat Hussein ) PML Q. The peoples of Pakistan choose the vote very wisely. Many of the PML Q leaders failed to win the election and peoples reject them badly.
It is a very good response of the peoples towards Nawaz Shareef party while Pakistan peoples party is also showing good performance over PML Q. In NWFP province ANP is at convincing position to form a provincial government.
In Sindh PPP and MQM are going side by side and more results will only clear the situation while Baluchistan peoples welcome PML Q.

Reconciliation Islam democracy and west is a book on Benazir Bhutto which will be available soon at book shelves. In the book one can find the Bnazir Bhutto letters written to Musharraf. The book reveals the plans of terrorist which will try to kill Benazir Bhutto. There were four divisions of groups who were a big threat to Benazir Bhutto life, one of the division was being headed by Osama Bin Laden son.
In a book she wrote about the peoples who killed her father Bhutto and same elements were her foe and they will try to kill her to obtain the same results against demopcracy and peoples party as they were gained previously when her father was assasinated. A recent letter to French president, British PM, EU president, Secretary foreign affairs USA and President of economic forum by chief justice Iftkhar chaudhry blamed Musharraf of destroying the institutions of Pakistan to linger on his rule in the country. This letter has been distrubuted by the lawyer of supreme court to journalists.
In the letter it is written that Musharraf is propogating against him in his recent visit to Europe. Musharraf was supposed to stepped down as president of Pakistan on Novemeber 15 2007 and he imposed an illegal act on the peoples of Pakistan to be a president of Pakistan for further tenure while the constitution does not allow him to do so. He also wrote he and his family is under house arrest and the security peoples even dont allow them to come into the lawn of the house. He also said the acts of Musharraf may lead to pakistan towards a dangerous situation. The independent judiciary can only bring the true democracy n the country.

Retired Genral Musharaaf is an insane kind of person. Since he came to power his decisions and actions are objectionable. He came to power through illegal way. Now in his latest statement he termed the retired Genrals as bad peoples. I would like to tell Musharaaf, these were the peoples who were patriot to the country. I can even write the qualities of retire generals one by one. Retired General Aslam Beg was a man who got the medal of democracy. During his time he tried his best to keep the Army out of politics but Musharaf jump into the political arena while he was wearing the uniform. Now come to Retired Air Marshal Asghar Khan, i dont have words to describe his patriotism towards the country. He is Mr clean through out his life. His contribution towards the country never be forgotten. Same like above our retired army officers are the asset of the country. President Musharaf statement in Europe is totally unbiased and he should apologise to the concern peoples to whom he insulted.
The demand of ex officers association is right. They are demanding Musharaf to step down and stop damaging the istitutions of the country immediately. All the ex army officers who are demanding that are his seniors. He used to salute them but now he is insulting them which showed that he is a disobedient kind of person. our sympathies and love is with our national heroes. Retired army officers are our legends. We love them. The president remarks towards our legends makes feel like Pakistan president is insane. There should be medical enquiry on him whether he is mentally fit or not to run the state affairs.
