Chief of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Imran Khan, while hitting hard at General Pervez Musharraf, has said that President Pervez Musharraf has committed treason and should face the death penalty for declaring a state of emergency in the country.
Condemning imposition of emergency in the country, Imran Khan called on the people to resist Musharraf’s move and not to recognise the new chief justice appointed by the military ruler. “Musharraf has committed high treason by negating the orders of the Supreme Court which bars him from taking any unconstitutional steps and by sending in troops after the Supreme Court decision,” Khan said.
He urged the people to resist the “unconstitutional move” and not to recognise the new Chief Justice whom Imran Khan termed as Musharraf aide.  He also called upon the lawyers to boycott the court proceedings and resist this unconstitutional move of General Musharraf.

I listen to the speech of Pakistan president Musharf regarding his justification over emergency in the country. He diagnoses the problems well to impose the emergency. he talked about the terrorism and extremism in the country. The law and order was not obeyed by those peoples. Different groups has been involved in violent activities. More over the supreme court was acting as a parallel government in the state. The image of Pakistan was tarnished.

If one agree with all above diagnoses, which can even diagnose by the common people, still there was not a need of Marshal law. President Musharaf is using the word emergency but actually it is Marshal law because the constitution is suspended and the basic rights of the peoples has been restricted.

My simple conclusion is the president diagnoses well but the cure in a shape of marshal law which he is imposing on the country is totally wrong.

I always listen in past Musharaf saying to go to root causes of the problems. Here the problem is he himself. The extremism is at the peak due to his policies, supreme court is running parallel government due to his presidency issue and what more.

I think he should not be desperate in running the country affairs. His advisers are totally silly peoples. I would like to mention the names of advisor too, they are the peoples like Mushahid Hussain, Malik Qayyum, Shujaat Hussain, Pervez elahi and Sher Afghan. The step which Muysharaf has taken is totally unacceptable by the social world. The state affairs should be run by consensus rather than one sided ideas.

The peoples of Pakistan should come out to the roads to declare independency against those few peoples who are running a country in such a poor way. The dictatorship is more  shameful thing than the allegation given by the president.

Now it is a necessity of time to say good bye to this dictators and people should show him with their unity power that there is no need of such a leader in the country who is considering himself above the law.  Peoples power can do a lot like it was done in Ukraine by those country fellows. Take steps and throw out these poeples to start a journey towards a destination which was set by Iqbal (national poet) and Mohammad Ali Jinnah. say yes to democracy and good bye to dictatorship.
