 Christina Applegate says she has a clean bill of health after undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I am clear Applegate tells ABC News good Morning America in an interview airing Tuesday and absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out so I am definitely not going to die from breast cancer.

 Applegates interview with GMA was taped Monday & the actress publicist Ame Van Iden announced earlier this month that Applegate was being treated for the disease after it was detected through a doctor-ordered MRI. I was so mad she says in the GMA interview when she 1^st heard the news. I was just shaking and then also immediately I had to go into take care of business mode which was I asked them what do I do now? What what is it that I do? I get a doctor I get a surgeon I get an oncologist? What do I do? Applegate 36 says she “immediately made those appointments and immediately called around for someone to start teaching me how to live macrobiotically. She was referring to following a healthy diet of fish grains beans and vegetables, and avoiding processed foods. The actress whose mother battled breast cancer, says she began getting mammograms at the age of 30 applegate is scheduled to appear on a 1 hour TV special stand Up to Cancer to be aired on ABC- CBS & NBC on September 5 to raise funds for cancer research and she has been nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe for the ABC show Samantha Who? in which she plays a woman who wakes from a coma with no memory of who she is.

 Hollywood Comedian Bernie Mac has passed away at age 50. He died Saturday morning in a Chicago area hospital from complications due to pneumonia, according to his publicist Danica Smith in 2005 it was revealed that the comedian suffered from sarcoidosis.

 He had been suffering from the inflammatory lung disease since 1983. His rep previously said Macs sarcoidosis was not related to the pneumonia which hospitalized the star last week. Mac is survived by his wife Rhonda McCullough and his daughter Je Niece. Mac was an Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor, whose hit show, The Bernie Mac Show ran on fox from 2001 through 2006. Mac had 2 movies in the works at the time of his death Old Dogs alongside Robin Williams and John Travolta and Soul Men with Samuel L. Jackson and Jennifer Coolidge. He was also involved in 2 television series according to IMDB.com a comedy Starting Under & Welcome To The Family a reality show. He was one of the original Kings of Comedy alongside Steve Harvey D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer.

 Mac was also a star of the Oceans film franchise alongside George Clooney and Brad Pitt. On Saturday Clooney issued a statement to Access over his friend’s passing and the world just got a little less funny. He will be dearly missed Clooney said. Neicy Nash, a co-star on The Bernie Mac Show also issued a statement to Access over the tragic news. Bernie Mac was so gracious she said in her statement. His passing is such a major loss to the acting and comedy communities. Everything that I learned and observed from Bernie Mac I am going to apply it his great legacy of graciousness and giving will live on. Bernie Mac was the personification of the word real her statement continued. He kept it real. That kind of genuine spirit that he carried all time cannot be easily duplicated but I will do my very best to try. 20^th Century Fox Television also released a statement on Saturday. Bernie Mac was a gifted talent whose comedy came from an authentic and highly personal place. He was a tremendous live performer and a wonderful actor.
