WHO Releases Findings From Research Project On Travel And Blood Clots

The World Health Organization recently released research into global hazards of travel. Findings indicate that the risk of developing venous thromboembolism (VTE) approximately doubles after travel lasting four hours or more. However the study points out that even with this increased risk, the absolute risk of developing VTE, if seated and immobile for more than four hours, remains relatively low at about 1 in 6000. The study showed that plane, train, bus or automobile passengers are at the higher risk of VTE when they remain seated and immobile on journeys of more than four hours. This is due to a stagnation of blood in the veins caused by prolonged immobility, which can promote blood clot formation in veins.

Ethnicity Plays A Role In Neonatal Deaths

Researchers have uncovered ethnic differences in the risk of neonatal mortality and morbidity (disease) in the neonatal intensive care units (NICU). Of grave concern is the noted elevation in mortality rate in the NICU among infants of South Asian (East Indian) origin, which is over three times that of Caucasian infants. It was also found that Aboriginal males and East Asian females had significantly greater odds of survival.

Ruling Unruly Substances — Staying Out Of Jams

What do sand, cereal, ice cubes, gravel, sugar, pills, and powders have in common? They are members of an unruly family of substances that refuse to completely conform to the laws of behavior for either solids or liquids — much to the consternation of theoretical physicists and manufacturers alike. Whether it’s a huge grain silo, a coal hopper or a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, being able to predict the behavior of dense granular packings is key to keeping things from jamming up or collapsing.

China supports Seyyeds by buying oil

The Japanese decided to cut back buying oil, in accordance with UNSC resolution. But just read this:
"China bought around 10.9 million tonnes, or 440,000 barrels per day, of crude from Iran in the first half. The surprise increase was due to some spot purchases by state refiner Sinopec Corp, one state oil trader told Reuters, an unusual practice as nearly all crude exports from OPEC producers are on long-term contracts instead of spot sales. "Iran has some surplus barrels because some buyers are cutting back imports," said the trader. Japan, a key lifter of Iranian crude, has scaled back purchases due to shrinking domestic demand."

What becomes obvious, is that the press twists the truth. And of course the Chinese are going to be the sole purchaser of all exports, only because the US cannot do without the cheap labour to produce exports to US. In the meantime the secular people of Iran have to have coupons to buy Gasoline, whilst the Seyyeds buy centrifuges to make nukes. It's nuts.
