Pop sensation Britney Spears is still struggling to come to terms with life and her music career. Now, the saucy singer returns after a hiatus of one year with her new album ‘Circus’.

Britney’s last album ‘Blackout’ couldn’t work wonders on the charts. ‘Blackout’ was a good attempt by the star to resurrect her sagging music career after a long break. But for someone whose own life is thrown into tumult, it’s difficult to come out with a good album.

To give credit where it’s due, Spears’ ‘Blackout’ was a nice compilation with really good groovy numbers. But the lady couldn’t do much with her vocals, thanks to producers who focused more on experimentation with the technical arrangements, rather than her voice. This time her album has a slice of her. You can empathize with her after listening to some of the tracks.

The lady has co-written two tracks for the album and a song is dedicated to one of her sons, as Britney still doesn’t have full custody of her two sons. The title ‘Circus’ is apt for the album as her life has been turned into nothing less than a circus because of constant media attention and persuasion.

The album marks the diva’s talent and her never-say-die spirit. She has targeted media and a song “Kill the lights” is aimed at paparazzi.
The simple girl who struck fame at a tender age and gradually messed her life up is now somewhat back on track with her father’s guidance and has reported some positive developments in her life. We also wish to listen more from a stable and normal Britney.

Spears has sung party numbers like “Womanizer” and “Shattered Glass” along with sentimental numbers like “Unusual You” for the album.

The pop-diva is celebrating her 26th birthday today with this album which is her sixth.

The ‘Circus’ hits the stores on December 2.
