I was analyzing the difference between the politicians and military officers in Pakistan. Why the top brass have edge on politicians. i concluded the following points…

Discipline The Army officers are well disciplined peoples. They dont cross the bounderies of institution rules and regulations. There is a check on them while the politicians are freehold entities. Any party in Pakistan dont have clear policies and regulations.

Decision Making  The decisions in an Army are being taken with consensus and unity while the political parties decisions are totally on chairpersons either it is PML, PPP or JI. It means the parties are being run by a single person.

 Power This is a major factor in which the army have edge on political leaders. They are in a control of most of the armed and law imposing institutions while the political parties are in contrary.

Thinking The army thinking is same in all officers due to their training. Gen Musharaf thinks same as Gen Kiyani thinks. While the political leaders posses flexible thinking. Even in a party different leaders shows contrary views with each other.

Interest The Army officers in Pakistan think of country or Army establishment while the politicians thinks of them self and their parties only. Noteable think is that no body think of peoples of Pakistan.

From the above differences would like to point out the only one thing which is peoples interest. No body think of peoples then who are those who will think about peoples. The answer is peoples itself.
