Set max is doing what none of Indian channel dared to think. Mixing non-cricketing personalities with the legends of cricket to discuss the game in front of the Indian people, who term cricket as religion, was a tough task to initiate.
Since the World Cup 2003, Mandira Bedi’s arrival on the small screen to discuss the game was really surprising.
This was like a neo-glamorization of already glamoured game. The pre and post match discussion became as important as the in-between time of the whole telecast.
Bhupendra Chaubey has put a question under his post It’s just not cricket that is there any need of non-cricketing person to have a talk with former cricketers on cricketing tips?
